Once you join HatedOrLoved.com we want you to get the most out of our site so please follow our simple five step process to get off to a great start.

Step One - Fill out your profile. Make to include links to any of your other profiles that are offered on our profile form. The most important things are to ensure you enter an accurate email and tell everyone what love and what you hate. - To Set Up Your Profile Click Here

Step Two - Get a feel for the types of stories on our site. Browse the "Popular Stories" both for Today and for All Time. Check out the categories you are most interested in such as Business, Entertainment, News and more. Remember you can view popular and upcoming stories for the entire site or just for individual categories.

Step Three - Vote and Comment! Like a story, then click on "Love It" if you don't like a story click on "Hate It" but don't stop there. Comment on stories as well especially if you hate a story. Tell us why you hated it, people want your opinions.

Step Four - Submit stories to HatedOrLoved.com. Just start by clicking on "Submit Story" and provide the full URL (including http://) to the source article. Then give the article a title (you do not have to use the original articles title, put your own spin on it if you want to). Provide a brief summary of the article and make sure to include some Tags to help others find articles the want to read and vote or comment on. For ideas on what to submit, check out our submission guidelines.

Step Five - Make friends! Hey this is "Social Networking" right? So when you see a great submission or comment you can click on that persons profile and then select "Add to Friends" and they will get a request to be added to your friends list. When anyone asks you to become their friend you will get an email notifying you about it. Remember to log into your account and click on Edit Profile and Manage Friends to accept their request.

That's it! Once you complete those five steps you are a bonafide full member of the HatedOrLoved community. There are a lot of great stories out there to love, hate and discuss, so get busy and above all make friends and have fun.
